9/9/04 - D.O.B. & D.O.D. given by son Larry Cote. According to Larry, he died after being transferred from Niagara Falls General Hospital to St. Joseph's Hospital, in Toronto, but the funeral and interment were in Niagara Falls from St. Patrick's RC Church.
Apr. 8, 2006 - e-mailed Larry and asked where his dad Lawrence got his middle name of Vincent since both his birth index and the declaration of birth filled in by his mother in 1927 list him only as Lawrence Cote.
Apr. 9, 2006 - Larry e-mailed back "As of this time I have no idea regarding the origin of 'Vincent' but suspect that to be a name of one of his forbearers as it seems there is always an attachment. It is certain that it was his second name - he was always known as Lawrence Vincent and I was differentiated as Lawrence Richard. I am uncertain as to the origin of my own second name. Interestingly, my brother (next oldest) was named Daniel and his second name is McNeil - earlier I suspected that origin as indicated on the declaration. "
